CF Inclusion & Employment Services

The Custom Fit & Inclusion Services program partners with the business community to create jobs. We actively seek out opportunities for job seekers to contribute to their community and economy.



Jean is a regular seasonal worker for the City of Nelson working as a Grounds Maintenance Worker at the Nelson Cemetery. She helps to keep the headstones clean, the gardens weeded and the lawns free from branches and debris.

Jean: “I’m happy I’m here and working hard. My favorite part is getting paid money!”








Hipperson Hardware is one of Mark’s many employers. At Hipperson Hardware he unloads stock and helps keep the basement organized by putting items away.

Mark:” I like getting to know my co-workers and putting stock away, it keeps my energy going.”

“Randy (Supervisor): “He is eager to get started, consistent and very reliable. He’s a pleasure to work with.”




Kenny works for the Kootenay Car Share Cooperative cleaning and maintaining their vehicles .

Kenny: ” I wash cars, trucks, vans. I check the washer fluid, tire pressure oil.  I like working there:.”





EricEric works at the Best Western Hotel as a house keeper. His goal was to have a career and he worked hard to achieve that goal.

Eric: “It’s a good job and pays the bills.  Gets me out and helps me afford to do what I want do in the community, like go to shows.  It keeps me happy!”

Dulcie Rich: “Eric is always on time, highly respected and does very well. He’s a pleasure to work with.”






RosalynOne of Rosalyn’s jobs is shredding paper for West Kootenay Social Enterprise Society’s (WKSES) Commercial Shredding Service. She works hard shedding documents at WKSES for their various commercial customers.

Rosalyn: “I like everything about the job. The people I work with are awesome!”






JonJon has worked as a prep cook for many years at Jackson’s Hole Grill. Recently he took on another job as a prep cook at the Adventure Hotel.  He loves his work!”

Jon: “It’s a great job for me because I need money and it’s next to my Dad’s store. The people here are great, nice and polite.”
