Drop-In Center: Preventative Healthcare in Action

The Temporary Drop-In Center on the bottom floor of the Salvation Army offers low-barrier access to essential wrap-around services. These include:

  • Basic food, showers, and laundry
  • Counselling and recovery referrals
  • Coordinated access to housing resources and treatment

This vital community-led response, spearheaded by the Nelson Committee on Homelessness and partially funded by Reaching Home, is actively changing lives.
